Organics in Ecuador
I am writing from Ecuador, South america. I am trying to start my business... an organic supermarket with food, beverages, beauty and cleansing products... everything. It is very difficult because in my country this concept is not fully understood. I have confidence that once the first step is given, people will appreciate this alternative. My question is can you tell em if there exists any or many organic supermarkets that offer some kind of franchise, it wuold help a lot to count with experience in the organic field. Thank you.

Goodness, I wish I could help you with your exciting store, but I don't know of any organic supermarkets that offer franchises. It would be fantastic if there was a big business along the lines of the Body Shop, but for organic food and lifestyle products. If any other readers know of a business exploring the idea of offering franchises along these lines, I hope they contact me so I can pass on the information to people like you. Meanwhile, here's wishing you every success with organics in Ecuador. Another idea in your market area would be to get in contact with the Seventh Day Adventist church, as they have a great network of vegetarian wholefood restaurants throughout South America. As such, they have a loyal customer base of people interested in whole foods and vegetarian foods, so may be able to offer you some local assistance with your new venture.
