I haven&#039;t... but, I am 100% certain you could use this recipe and switch out the canned pumpkin for fresh. I agree with you, in principle I probably shouldn&#039;t have included this recipe on OrganicFoodee, because canned organic pumpkin is so much more wasteful than fresh organic steamed pumpkin. But.... I am a conflicted city-dwelling OrganicFoodee, and I&#039;m certain many of the readers are the same way. Sometimes, the choice really is between no pumpkin bread, organic pumpkin bread with shortcuts, or non-organic pumpkin bread from the store. So I chose to highlight a convenience product that is nutritionally good, although a little on the wasteful side in terms of the can.</description>
